It all started about ten years ago when I juried into the Illinois Artist Guild. The judges loved my realistic looking miniature cabins and officially designated me an Illinois Folk Artist.

Today, I make (not manufacture) the same kits I used to jury into the Artisan Guild. Several Franklin Cabin Kits have been used by elementary and high school teachers as classroom projects. A church kit was used as a Bible school project in Texas a few years ago.

But don't think my kits are kids' stuff. Hundreds of skilled hobbyists from New Hampshire to Texas, Maryland to California have enjoyed these kits, too.
